DANG!

DANG! is a multi-purpose band with a single objective: To bring together a century’s worth of musical styles in a stew of contemporary, original music ranging from Appalachian tunes to gut-bucket rock and roll to acoustic “singer-songwriter” styles. They’ve even been called “Stringband Rock”, an allusion to the melding of these styles via fiddle, banjo, dobro, mandolin, electric and acoustic guitars and drums.

Although they are a band in their own right, they also serve as accompaniment to the contemporary acoustic songs of Robin Dale Ford and Pat Fitzgerald. They play songs from Robin’s latest CD, “ain’t that skippin’ & flyin’” and the rest are songs of Fitzgerald’s from his “Wild Harvest” CD, plus two upcoming CDs, a second solo project and a DANG! recording.

Hang on to your seats, Folks. DANG! is like a good ol’ jalopy. Sometimes is runs smooth, sometimes it runs ragged, but it always runs right. This is music from the front porch at the end of a long, dirt road featuring Robin Dale Ford and Pat Fitzgerald with John Carnahan and Eric Graves.
